Christmas Day (FINALLY)

MASON'S FIRST CHRISTMAS-- YEAH!!
Even though I had to work on christmas -at 6AM!! My supervisor was sooooo nice and allowed me to go home from 8-10 that morning. It was perfect timing. As I was walking in the door, Derek was getting Mase out of his crib. Christmas this year was FABULOUS. I got everything I wanted and more. Thanks Everyone. We got Mason this cute (MANLY mind you) Kitchen. He loved it. The stove lights up and makes noises and Mase just loves standing up to it and opening and closing the drawers. I had to go back to work and it was sooooo slow. The calls we did get were all Family Fights and Custodial issues. I was so glad to be going home when 6pm finally came. I swung by the house and picked Mason and Derek up and we headed over to his mom and step dad's house for dinner and more presents. His grandma Kim got him an awesome 4-wheeler (among a billion other thingS). Its not an automatic one but it does make noises and Mason is content with that. All in all we each got spoiled. My mother in law got Mason some outfits that say Happy First Bday on them and it only made it sink in more that in a month I will have a 1 yr old...so weird to think. I have also been thinking that Derek and I have been 'together' for over 5 years now. Cant wait for our 5 year wedding anniversary in May. I sure love my family and cant wait for what the future holds! I hope everyone had a GREAT Christmas and be safe on New Years :)

Christmas Eve we had everyone over at our house..So much Family time together this last week! WEIRD :) Amber and I planned dinner -the usual- Ham, potatos, rolls gravy you name it. This year was full of firsts for me- I cooked a turkey on thanksgiving and then the ham for Christmas eve. Big deal k. :) Everything turned out really nice and was delicious. Mike (my brother) brought all the makings for pomegranate margaritas-same as last Christmas Eve.. He says that is now his Christmas Eve tradition I guess. I wasn't a big fan though-- too strong for me! We had all picked names and did the whole gift exchange thing. We went youngest to oldest of course. Once again I had to wake up early because I had to go to work the next day (Christmas- I know!) so I tried calling it an early night.. I wanted to put one of Mason's present's together before christmas morning and it took me 2 freaking hours (BLAH!!!) SO finally at midnight I went to bed- waiting for Santa to come :)

WingNutz and Pool

My brother Mike came to visit for the holidays from the East coast-- WAHOO!! We last saw him back in October so it's only been a few months but it seems like FOREVER.. Us older kids (Mike, Me, Jared, and Amber) decided to go out and eat with my dad and just hang out together. We went to WingNutz at the junction and they had some pretty good food. After dinner we walked over to fat cats to play pool. We found this little bar inside by the bowling alley that had a pool table and there was no one else there. So we got a pitcher and played us some pool and some darts. LOTS OF FUN :) It was nice to get away from the baby and to have a good night out with family.

These pictures were all taken at My mom's side of the family christmas party.. Amber had the party over at her house and I think it turned out great :) My Dad's side of the family party was also the same night. I went to Amber's house first and then ran to my Dad's family party for a bit then went back to Ambers.. I felt so rushed!! I met a couple of new "family friends" which is always fun.. My mom brought her boyfriend, which was a little different to see.. but as you can tell I was pretty much just focused on Mase and opening up his presents. We didnt stay long really-Mason was sooo tired-- and Derek and I both had to work early the next day..

BORED

i am: very happy with my life :)
i think: we might be ready to try for another baby here soon!
i know: I can run those 5 miles come may!
i want: to be able to work part time one day.
i have: the happiest baby ever!
i dislike: a lot of things. Everything bugs me at one point (if not more) in my life.
i miss: some good friends.
i fear: death...
i feel: SOOOOOOO tired.
i hear: my coworkers at work.
i smell: the bbq we just had for lunch. yummy.
i crave: mmm caramel frappaccinos.
i usually: go to bed around 9-10 ish..(If im lucky)
i search: for good deals ALL the time.
i wonder: what Mason is thinking in that little head of his.
i regret: buying my car (I paid waaay too much)
i love: my new tile! woo hoo!
i care: more than people think.
i always: eat way too much.. ha no wonder why I cant lose these last few lbs!
i worry: about nothing at the moment.
i am not: so great at getting my butt to the gym :(
i remember: very little. I have the worst memory ever- Ask my sister!
i have: no problem saying whats on my mind. what-so-ever.
i dance: NEVER! you can thank me for that later :)
i sing: all the time.
i don’t always: just drink pop- I do sometimes have water.
i argue: just to prove I'm always right!
i write: lists- lots of lists.
i win: at nothing when competing with Derek. Lame.
i lose: my mind sometimes..
i wish: I had more money $$$$$
i listen: to silence every once in a great while and LOVE it.
i don't understand: people and why they butt their noses into other people's business.
i am scared: lots of things. Im a little scaredy-cat!
i need: to SLEEP! sick babies are no fun in the middle of the night- especially when I have to work in the morning!
i forget: what things used to be like before Mason came into this world.
i am happy: anytime I look at my Mase-face.. He always makes me smile :)

We went to Derek's work party last night and Santa came to visit all the kids..

This was mason's 2nd time seeing santa and I'd have to say the first time went a lot better. This time he actually cried! :(

and on a quick note-- MASON TOOK HIS FIRST STEPS LAST WEEK- and has been wanting to walk everywhere ever since!!!! ***** What a big boy. He will be 11 months old on the 21st. One more month and I'll have a 1 year old!
